About Me
Welcome to my homepage! My name is Qixuan Fang (方啓軒/方启轩). I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in mathematics at Rugters, The State University of New Jersey-Newark. My advisor is Yi-zhi Huang. For now, I am interested in the mathematical constructions of quantum field theory, especially conformal field theory, via the main approaches of vertex algebras, representation theory and tensor categories.

Non-academic life
Sports are an indispensable part of my life. If you are interested in playing football (AmE soccer), table tennis, basketball, badminton, pool, or simply swimming or jogging with me you are more than welcome to contact me. I am also passionate about offering charitable football training and youth programs for children under 12, especially for Chinese kids. I hold the necessary coaching qualifications. Please contact me if any training initiatives need support, I would love to contribute.
Chinese calligraphy (especially pen calligraphy) is another major passion of mine.
